We know your time is important (so important it’s a topic for one of our webinars!!) and with each year, even though we all know time is the constant, the value of time increases. An economic theory is that the demand on our time is driving up the value because supply hasn’t changed.

We recognise this so in 2021/22 financial year we have changed our business improvement educational webinar events to be of greater value and more focused to you and your industry. Below is a calendar for each of our business improvement webinars that will be running through to December 2021. You can book for as many or as few as you like as each of these sessions go for one approximately an hour and are FREE.

Tim McCarthy

Michael Osborne is the CEO & Director of Sage Business Group. After beginning his career in a variety of pursuits, Michael joined D.P. McMahon & Associates in 1990 and has been the leader to grow the business from a 3 person taxation team to the business you see today with 20 internal team members and a full suite of financial and wealth services available through the vast network of alliance partners.

Michael has been the long-term president of the Sunbury Business Association and in 2019 was awarded the Hume City Council Business Leader of the Year award for his work in leading businesses throughout the City of Hume region over his career. Hailing originally from the regional New South Wales, Michael is able to bring with him learning from a very diverse client group over his career together with practical down-to-earth solutions that work and can be applied in the real world.

Tim McCarthy is a Director of Sage Business Group and heads up the Business Growth, Sales and Product Development areas of the business in addition to developing an extensive client base of growing business owners who he advises across a diverse range of industries. Tim has held a number of leadership roles across local Sporting Clubs & Associations and was a long term Director of the Lancefield & Romsey Community Bendigo Bank.

During his period on the board Tim held the role of Chair for four years and Treasurer for a further four years during which time the business undertook major expansion and change with increased sites, revenue growth, team expansion, increased community contribution and increased shareholder returns. This Non-Executive experience, in addition to his executive experience from his roe with Sage Business Group gives Tim a broad perspective from the various roles within a business as it goes through various phases of growth, change and development.
